Once the menu pops up again click on Set as Default Communication Device. The menu will disappear and then your device will be the new default communications and playback device for your computer. Right click on your headset again to bring up the same menu. Once you click on it your device will be the default device and the menu will disappear. Once the menu pops up, click on Set as Default Device, which will then set your headset to the default device. Right click on your headset in playback devices. Your headset should be listed with the type of headset that it is. This will open up the playback devices menu, what you see in the image above is that the headset is not the default device, but the headset is supposed to be the default device so that all sound goes to the headset. Right click on it and a small menu should appear. Once you plug in a USB headset, navigate to the bottom right corner of your screen where you can see the speaker icon. If you do have a USB headset and need help enabling it, follow the instructions below. The image below is how to tell whether or not you have a USB headset, if you do not have one you will not be able to make calls due to the system requirements.
